Shipping & Handling Set Up question related to lbs and ounces

I have selected

Shipping Calculator
Selected the Shipping Carrier (UPS)
Added 3 Ship Methods
Selected Auto as address type
Selected Ounces as units of measure
Entered “2 lbs” as max package weight  (not really sure what it should be)

My problem is that when adding a product and assigning a weight to it, the only unit of measure that can be entered is lbs in whole numbers.  I have products that weight 4oz but cannot set up shipping this way.  This is causing the shipping fees to be through the roof.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Bob,

We have addressed the pounds vs. ounces issue. When using the UPS Shipping Calculator and setting the "Unit of Measure" dropdown in the Cart Settings to lbs or ounces, the Cart will calculate the amount entered for the product accordingly in lbs or ounces. Please email me at kevin@smith-consulting.com with your UserID and PurchaseID and we will send you the update. Or the solution will also be included in the next release of the Cart v.4.82.

Thanks,
