I've defined my payment method, payment zone, setup my QBMS test account and entered it into the Payment Gateway.

When I submit a purchase on the test credit card, i get the message "[card issuer] is not an accepted card type"

I am using the test credit cards provided by Intuit. None of them will process.

The test account works on the IDN test page (https://ipp.developer.intuit.com/0085_QuickBooks_Windows_SDK/qbms/0030_Get_Set_Up/5._Try_a_Test_Transaction). I see the transactions in my test Merchant Account

What's left to be configured for processing test transactions?

Neglected to include this before: running on Smith 4.93.0 in DNN 6.01.04 (community). Thanks!

Hello,

In the Payment Setup section of the Manage Payments screen is a section labeled "Accepted Card Types". Select the credit card types below you wish to accept in your store and click Save. You should then be able to checkout without the above message.

Please postback with an update.

Thanks,

Kevin, are you referring the Accepted Card Types in the Payment Gateway definition? Those are selected.

I am defining settings through Store Administration/Payment Setup. Is this the same place as the Payment Setup section of the Manage Payments screen (perhaps reskinning has affected displayed titles)?

thanks.

I am still waiting on an answer to this question. This is now a block in our implementation of SmithCart for our client.

All credit card options were selected when the problem was reported. We have subsequently  reregistered the application with Intuit to no effect.

The message "[card issuer] is not an accepted card type" is a valid message returned from the payment gateway. Try logging into your QBMS virtual terminal to see if there are settings to turn on all the card types as accepted. If that's not it, try using a different credit card.
