Hi,

I am new to Smith Cart and through my readings I found that you could add the Product/Quantity to a shopping cart via a URL/request. This part is working great and I have been able to add items to my cart just fine. However, I've setup Shipping Fee for some of my products and this value is not getting calculated on the cart when the product is initially added. But does get calculated after I click the Update Quantity button.

Can anyone please tell me if this is a known bug or if there is a workaround. I deparately need this to work for my client.

I am using Smith Cart v4.6.

Hello,

Which version of DNN are you currently running?

In your Cart settings, how do you have the Shipping and Handling Setup and Tax Setup sections configured?

Also, which Payment gateway do you have configured?

Thanks,

Kevin,

DNN v 5.6.3

Shipping and Handling - Product Level Shipping Costs, All Handling Setup left to default
Tax - No Tax
Payment Gateway - Manual / Credit Card

Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt,

I just tried to re-produce this issue on my test portal and was unable to recreate the behavior you reported. This may be because I may not have the exact same configuration as you pr the issue has already been addressed in the current version of the Cart v.5.0.

Would you mind logging into our test site to replicate the issue? This will determine if the issue is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific dnn portal/cart install. For login credentials, please send an email with a link to this post to support@smith-consulting.com.

Thanks,
