Have configured cart with rate calculator, UPS. Am shipping from the US to....everywhere in the world, domestic and international. Canadian customers have heartburn about paying Bangladesh rates. UPS has Canada standard rates from the US, which are slightly more than US domestic. So I found that if I configure all International with fixed amounts, then configure UPS to calculate only US domestic rates, it will still provide a US to Canada Standard ground rate if the destination address is a Canadian. This correct value will appear correctly in the Shipping Fee field of the subtotal column, but will not be reflected anywhere in the dropdown menu. The dropdown menu will only show the first option and its cost in the list, which in this case is a custom fixed international rate. To circumvent this I created a dummy custom fixed amount method and titled it "UPS Ground - Canada (minimum charge) -- $12.95" and have it as the top option in the dropdown so if it is a Canadian destination it will have some relationship to the shipping fee in the subtotal column. While this works, I now can't offer any other means of real time shipping to Canada (air), nor can I offer any real time shipping to anywhere else in the world outside of the US. So, my question is, can an selectable rate calculation option be added to UPS for US - Canada standard ground? My guess is that the same issue holds true for Canada to US, though I haven't tested it since I don't need it.
