Smith Cart settings issue cannot edit any settings in new install of smithcart

Have you seen this before.. new install.. dnn 6.2.2. iis7. smithcart 5. downloaded trial today. When selecting setting from any smith module the settings popup get mangled and frozen. The screen gets dark and nothing is editable. this has happened on a live site and a local install.. no other modules have been installed except for the smit cart
