Hi there

Today I went to check my site to find that all the images in my Smithcart catalog were all coming up as http://www.websitename.au/DesktopModu... .  After this, I noticed that the main domain name for my site was incorrect.  It is meant to be www.domainname.com.au but I found that it was coming up as www.domainname.com.au.dnnmax.com .  I contacted my hosting provider who fixed the issue but alas the images are still not working correctly and I don't know what to do.


The response I received from my hosting provider was .........

I have looked through available event logs, but unfortunately there is no recorded reason why the images would disappear like this.  I looked at Smith Cart's "Products" table in the database (titled dbo.Smith_Products) and the ProductImage for all products was set to NULL (meaning the images were not broken links, but rather the module itself was set to have no image for each product).  I recommend contacting Smith Consulting  they may be able to determine if there was a database-level event (such as a Stored Procedure running) or a hosting-level event (such as an application pool reset during a critical function) that may have caused the whole ProductImage column to be set to NULL.

Can you help me?  My website is missing all the graphics in my catalog and I don't know why. I have not done any recent updates modifications or anything else they simply vanished from one day to the next.

Hi Joanne,

Which version of the Cart and DNN are you currently running?

There isn't a database-level event (such as a Stored Procedure running) or a hosting-level event (such as an application pool reset during a critical function) that would have caused the whole ProductImage column to be set to NULL in your database.

Did you use the Import Products feature or have you had anyone working on your site around the time the images stopped showing up?

Hi Kevin

I am running cart version 4.93 and DNN 6.1.3.

I don't use the import products feature. I have done nothing to my site recently I have yet to even update to the latest verision of cart. I am the only one who works on the site etc.

The last products I added to the site was approx 10 days ago. It was all working fine, then from one day to the next all the images vanished.

Hi Joanne,

I recommend having your hosting provider or network admin check your SQL server and windows logs for any scripts which were run or updates performed as there isn't anything within SmithCart that would have caused the whole ProductImage column to be set to NULL in your database.
