Product Listing Page URL - The "CategoryID/2" shows in the url only when using the category menu module on a different page then the buynow module. When the category module is on the same page as the buynow module no /CategoryID/2" is shown in the url. From the store admin menu category management page you can define url keywords for your categories and achieve the url as follows:
yourdomain.com/store/categoryid/2/guitars.aspx
This is a short url with a good seo keyword in the url and will work nicely for SEO.
Product Details Page URL - The "/ProductID/2" shows in the url whenever you navigate to the product details page. From the store admin menu category management page you can define url keywords for yourproducts and achieve the url as follows:
yourdomain.com/pd/ProductID/1/gibsonguitar.aspx
This is a short url with seo keywords in the url and will work nicely for SEO.
