Hello,

Today I tried using the sale price feature, and whilst the sale price displays on the product listing page and the product item page, when the user adds it to their cart they are charged the full price. 
I have added the sale price to the item and activated sale price in the store setup....have I missed anything?

Update.

I think the issue is I have no sale price in the variants. However when I try to edit a variant, the variant group drops out and is no longer avaliable in the drop down to pick, creating an error when saving the item.
I tried deleting and recreating the variant group...which worked, and allowed me to recreate the variants. Once the product was saved and I browsed to the item I got an internal server error - resource not available. By deleting the variants, the product worked again but I am unable to add variants now???

Hi Rod,

Which version of the Cart and DNN are you currently running?

Have you enabled the Lifecycle Status of the Variant to "Sale"?

DNN 7.00.02(1) and SC 5.60
Yes I did try and activate lifecycle status. The issue is I didnt have sale price entered in the variants. But now when I try and edit the variant to add it, I am unable to select the variant group that was there originally. I had to delete the variants and variant group and re-add them.
But now I get the error "Internal Server error - Resource unavailable" so I am unable to add any variants. I am also unable to access the category menu in the store admin as I get the following error "A CRITICAL ERROR HAS OCCURRED. The stored procedure 'dbo.Smith_ListDeptSubDept' doesn't exist"

Hi Rod,

I suggest upgrading to the latest version of the Cart as I'm fairly certain that these are issues that have been resolved in recent releases. Do you currently have access the SmithCart Downloads page or an active Cart Maintenance Plan?

Hi Kevin,

I do not have an active cart maintenance plan. As I purchased SC for this site less than 3 months ago am I entitled to a free upgrade?

If you are within 3 months of purchase then yes, you can absolutely get access!

I have upgraded to 5.68 but still have the same issue. If I try to edit a variant, the variant group drop down is blank. The only way to get it back is to delete the variant and variant group and re add them....but then the item gets the error as stated above and I have to delete the variant

Hi Guys,

Still no answer to my issue. I cannot add variants without the above error even after disabling sale prices. As soon as I delete the variant the error goes....my products need variants. Any help very much appreciated

Hi Rod,

What is the error being logged to your Event Viewer?

I haven't been able to replicate this issue on my test portal. I would like to have you login to one of our public test portals and configure the cart the way you have your's configured and try to replicate the issue. This will determine if the issue you are reporting is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific DNN portal/cart install.
