Version of Cart: 7.27.0
Version of DNN: 7.04.01

Hello, We are using the custom textbox, dropdown, date, and checkbox fields for "Step 1 Page" and "Confirmation Page" as well as "Special Instructions". The only field that displays on the Confirmation and Confirmation Status page is: Textbox #1. How do we get these custom fields and Special Instructions to show up on the Confirmation and Confirmation Status pages?

If you want to show the custom textbox, dropdown & date fields on the confirmation pages do the following:

1. Go to your buynow module settings
2. Expand the "Confirmation Status Page" setup section
3. Check the boxes to show the custom fields
4. Save your settings


For the special instructions we have the option for the user to enter special instructions on the confirmation page. However, if you select the option to enter special instructions on the step1 page their is not option to display again on the confirmation page. To enable the option to enter special instructions on the confirmation page do the following:

1. Go to your buynow module settings
2. Expand the "Cart and Checkout" setup section
3. Under the "Special Instructions" section select the option for the confirmation page
4. Save your settings

You also have the option of including the custom fields in the order confirmation emails by adding the respective tokens.

Hi Dave,

I did as instructed but the custom fields show up blank instead of auto populating what was filled out on the Step 1 page. 

How can we change the option for the special instructions to display again on the confirmation page?

You have the option to display and enter the custom fields on either the Step1 page or the confirmation page.  There is no option to enter the custom fields on the step 1 page and then display them on the confirmation page.  Same thing with special instructions.  If you are interested in customizing to work the way you want I think its pretty easy and would only take 1-2 hours.  Please send an email to support@smith-consulting.com if you want this customization.
