Hello if anyone can help!

We can't seem to get Shipping with Regions and Weight not calculating shipping costs. We are running DNN 7.24+ and Smith Cart 7.24.

We have done the following:

1) Setup a Custom Shipping Method (Direct Freight)

2) Setup Zones such as States in Australia (NSW, VIC, QLD)

3) Setup appropriate Weight for Each of the Zones.

4) Added the Zone/States in the State table to link to the Australia country.

At check out, the correct State Region code is decoded from the State/Region entered but the shipping cost is wrong. It doesn't seem to get the shipping Cost from the Weight:

If we then click on Change Shipping, the correct price ($15) temporarily appears as per below:

BUT when clicking Calculate Shipping - the wrong price is added again ($20)

It seems to always revert back to the first "Zone Shipping Cost" in the table:

It seems like a bug unless the setup is not correct.

Has anyone been able to setup Shipping according to Zones and Weight?

Hi Max,

I have found that the issue you are reporting, with multiple Shipping Methods and Costs displaying for Australian states not selected in the State dropdown on the Cart page when calculating shipping is a limitation of the Shipping Zone by Weight option and the states that were manually added to the "Smith_States" database table.

The Shipping Zone by Weight option in particular has been programmed with logic to work specifically for the US and Canada countries but not States which are manually added to the Smith_State database table.

Let me know if you would like a quote to program additional logic for that Shipping Zone by Weight option that will allow you to use the manually added States or specifically Australian states.
