After I set default country to Australia,

and state: vic

and currency choose Australia dollar.

then click update.

then come back to see the state textbox become empty. the data has lost.

Re: a bug

I can confirm that in the cart setting that the home state was not saving for non US and Canada countries. This shouldn't effect anything in the checkout but it has been fixed and will be availible in the next cart release 2.99 in a day or 2.
