Repeating this error - again it seems mostly to be when I try to do a Rental with recurring billing. I did a straight purchase just fine but not a rental. BTW I do have recurring billing set up in AN unless something else in it needs tweaking:

John,

We setup a recurring billing product with auth.net and are able to checkout successfully. Can you login to our test site http://www9.smith-consulting.com/ and try to replicate the error.

Please send an email to support@smithcart.com if you need a login.

We have rebuilt the site with DNN 5.5 and Smith Cart 3.2 and can get the recurring billing to work with our Authorize.net test account. Now as soon as we put in the clients Authorize.net account information in we get the ARB Manager error like we were before. We have contacted Authorize.net and they told us everything is set up on their end correctly so I am at a loss on where to go from here. I did see another post in the forum here on 8/16 from "sussetteh" that they were getting an ARB Manager issue when not in test mode and using a live account. It seems like something is not being processed right or not included when the call goes out to Authorize.net. Here is our current error below:

(Message received after hitting submit)

Error processing payment. Please try again.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at ARBManager.ProcessARB(BillingAccountInfo accountDetails, CustomerInfo customerDetails, ProductsInfo product, String amount, Boolean recurring, String interval, Int32 occurances) at Smith.DNN.Modules.BuyNow.Confirm.ProcessAuthNetTransaction(BillingAccountInfo accountDetails, CustomerInfo customerDetails) at Smith.DNN.Modules.BuyNow.Confirm.Submit() --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Are you able to get a regular credit card transaction thru ok? Or is it just recurring billing transactions that are giving this error. Do you have the all your recurring billing settings configured including interval, can you post a screen shot or your recurring billing settings. Has your store been live and processing and this just started happening?

Here is what we've determined so far:

Trying your testing server and ours - we can get AN Test orders to process fine with recurring billing. All is good. When we take it to live mode (which we can only do on our servers) it fails and brings us the error message. It simply will not do it. I'm sure there's bug in the kiss between it and AN. We upgraded DNN to 5.5 and still have the 3.2 cart.

Next idea?

Accepted Answer

We fixed an issue that started popping up in the cart and dnn 5.2 and above here is a post of the issue that was resolved:

http://www.smith-consulting.com/forums/forumid/1/postid/2698/scope/posts.aspx#2698

This may be related to the issue you are having I recomend upgrading to the latest version of the cart v3.06 to see if it fixes it for you.
