Hey Scott

In Australia VAT is called GST (Good and Services Tax)

Some users will be confused by the VAT acronym and could drop off thinking they're dealing with an offshore company.

Where in the Db can we change this or is it hard coded?

Cheers again

Rob

The labels for VAT are in the ascx pages so you can open up the desired page in your editor and change "VAT" to "GST" and then save you should be good to go!

Not all references are in the aspx file. Some - including the emails are referenced to the server (why I have no idea).

In v3.09 released this week there is a new dropdown in the cart settings where you can choose VAT or GST and the labels on all the screens and emails will display VAT or GST appropriately.

This is not available yet? Also please read my post on GST being calculated fromt he product price and not added to at checkout... this makes it VERY hard as when the tax rates change the user must edit every product price rather than just the tax rate and also wholesalers see the incorrect price in the catalogue as they should be seeing the before GST price. - thats in the other thread so I wont talk too much on it here.
