I want to be able to have the customer enter their credit card information, but not have it connected to a gateway - they will use their machine in the store. This information would be stored and/or emailed. Is this possible in the cart?
Yes, in the cart settings under the Payment Gateway section you would set the gateway to “Manual Processing (No Gateway)” and the cart will not process the credit card transaction thru a gateway but will store the customer, order and credit card information in the database. You can process the credit card transaction at a later time manually through your credit card terminal or virtual terminal.
