At some point I know I setup custom shipping with values and it was showing on the first page of the cart. Now I can't get ANY shipping options to show up at all ... any ideas what I may have changed... can't find it. version 3.85

Which shipping option do you have configured? The following are the possible shipping options:

  • Cart Shipping Calculator
  • Custom Ship Methods with Fixed Amounts
  • Custom Ship Methods By Weight
  • Custom Ship Methods By Quantity
  • Custom Ship Methods By Order Amount
  • Custom Ship Methods By Zip Code
  • Shipping By Order Amount
  • Product Level Shipping Costs

Custom ship with fixed amounts...

I then set up three options in the admin area under shipping...

I tried mulitple ship addresses on and off... but just can't get it show up (supposed to be on the first cart screen right?) that's where I remembered it and the screen shot on snowcovered shows it.

Maybe delete all options and reenter them?

The custom ship methods with fixed amounts shows on the cart page and the "Show Multiple Ship To" (the address book) displays on the step 1 page. You can try to delete and re add them also make sure you have selected the correct option in the buynow module settings shipping section.

I have tried several shipping options (some custom) some just fed ex, and selected combine shipping methods and just cant get it to show any options on the first page of the cart? any ideas?

ok so the issue is with combine shipping methods? You can get the correct shipping options to show when you dont select combine shipping methods? please confirm.

No, I have tried all kinds of combinations and types of shipping and can get nothing to show...

In order to determine if the issue is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific dnn portal/cart install can you login to our test portal and configure the cart settings to match your cart settings and try to replicate the issue.

OK I logged in on test site... when I was logged in and added an item to cart the shipping didn't show up... when I wasn't logged in it did. Thought that was odd... also I keep getting a MAC addrress error on occasion on my site and to get rid of it I have to quit the browser (not sure if related or not)

I also reinstalled the package... same result. I have my setup the same as yours, custom shipping with fixed everything looked pretty similar to my setup... I also restarted the app from the host menu (dnn that is) I am also using url master fyi...

OK think I may have this figured out... we imported all of our products from a spreadsheet and didn't have a value for the weight so it was zero. Even though we were doing fixed priced shipping options, not having the weight of more than zero made the shipping and ship address not show up.
