License Key

I have purchased and upgraded my live site with smith cart version 3.88. However, I am still getting the following message:

"To request a license key click here. To purchase Smith Cart online visit smithcart.com. Thank you for using Smith Cart."

When I try to request for a license key I get the message "user ID already exists". What should I do to remove the message from my website? Thanks
