Hi

I am working with the trial copy of smith cart and I am trying to add the Smith Category Menu module to a page and each time I do I get the following critical error message .....

A critical error has occurred.
Could not load type 'DotNetNuke.Entities.Content.ContentItem' from assembly 'DotNetNuke, Version=5.2.2.73, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

I also have a Featured Products module on the same page and this dissapears each time I try to add the Category module.

thanks very much

What page are you trying to add it to? I just tried to replicate this on our test site(http://www7.smith-consulting.com/MySt...) and was unable to do so.

Also, did you remember to point the module to your BuyNow module page? (Go into the Category Menu Settings, and select your BuyNow page from the drop down)

Thanks,
Christian

DNN 5.2 has known bugs I would recommend upgrading your dnn to v5.6.1. Also, we will be releasing a new cart trial v4.2.2 tomorrow and I recommend doing a clean install the of the cart using the latest cart version. Here are the clean install instructions for the cart http://www.smith-consulting.com/forum...

The error occurs as soon as I try to add the module to the page. It makes no difference when I go into the settings and select the buy now page name. I have been trying to add the module to the main front page, but I have also tried other pages and get the same result. The error results in all the other page modules becoming blank also of the page that I try to add the category module too.

I will try upgrading the version of DotNetNuke.

cheers
