I am trying to install the latest Shopping Cart module on DNN 5.6.1. The Smith Cart is version 4.24, judging from the name inside the ZIP file (it was downloaded yesterday, 24 Mar).

During the process of installing the module, I get the error "This package does not appear to be a valid DotNetNuke Extension as it does not have a manifest" (see attachment).

Why am I getting this error? What do I have to do to make it work?

I downloaded a file called "SmithCart-ExtractMe.zip". It contains the following files:

SmithCart04.24.00-DNN5.zip
Smith.BuyNow03.88.00-DNN4.zip
zoom-files.zip
lightbox-files.zip
Cart-Readme.txt
(5 file(s) 6,796,836)

When Installing the Module, am I supposed to upload "SmithCart-ExtractMe.zip", or do I upload SmithCart04.24.00-DNN5.zip and Smith.BuyNow03.88.00-DNN4.zip separately? What then of zoom-files.zip and lightbox-files.zip?

Where is this documented please?

You need to unzip SmithCart-ExtractMe.zip and then depending on the version of dnn you are running install SmithCart04.24.00-DNN5.zip or Smith.BuyNow03.88.00-DNN4.zip in dnn. Also you will need to unzip zoom-files.zip or lightbox-files.zip depending on if you want zoom or lightbox and read the read me file for install instructions. There are also install instructions in the cart quickstart guide and user manual.
