I just recently purchased the Smith Cart v 4.27, and I am having difficulty getting it to work correctly.  I am able to put my products in my BuyNow module and Product Details module.  My MiniCart works fine.  However, when I get to the page to confirm the order, I click Submit Order, but it does not redirect me.  I put in my page to redirect in the settings, but it will not redirect.  It stays on the page.  The problem is that the payment is still processed, so my customers may click the button several times and be charged several times.  How do I fix this?

Also, once the payment has been processed, the user roles are not being added.  I put the user roles to be added after successful payment in the settings, but it is not working.  Do I need to change my settings, or does my host need to do something on his end?  Please help me.  :)

Which payment gateway are you using? Also could you send me a screen shot of the order confirmation page?

We have purchased and used this cart a bunch of times for various clients. The client it set up on Authorize.net which works just fine and charges the card, creates the recurring billing and everything so I know that is not the problem. The problems are:
1- Roles are not being added to the account at checkout
2- The page just stalls on the conirmation page and never redirects to the page that has been entered in the redirect. If we remove the redirect page, it still just stalls on the confirmation page.
Giving you a screen shot of the stalled confirmation page will accomplish nothing because it doesn't show you anything (there are no error messages there), and the payment gateway works just fine like I said in the first post and again above.

Hi Bryce,

The reason I asked which Payment Gateway you are using was so i can replicate on our test portal the issues that you are having. I tried to reproduce them with the information you gave me and I was able to have the Roles added and I was successfully redirected. Also I requested a screen shot of the confirm page to see if you had any required options before checkout such as a checkbox which has been confirmed to stall the conformational page if try to proceed with out checking it . So I was unable to recreate the error but I may not have the exact same configuration as you. Can you login to our test site http://www16.smith-consulting.com and try to replicate the error. This will determine if the issue is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific dnn portal/cart install.

Did anyone figure this one out?

I'm on v4.31 (dnn 5.4.4) and I have 1/2 the same problem. The cart does not redirect but the security roles are added. Additionally the cart is not cleaned out what was just purchased.

Hi Bryce,

To first determine if the issue is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your site would it be possible for you to login to our test portal and configure the cart settings to match your cart settings and try to replicate the issue.

No need. I fixed it in a round about way... I upgrade to dnn 5.5.1 (this is a sandbox) and the problem went away!

Going to attempt an upgrade to 5.6.2 to get current.
