All products have a weight, yet I'm getting this error.

Weights are input in ounces, e.g. 1.00, 4.50, 3.00.... isn't this the correct format?

Just installed version 4.31.

We have configured shipping in the Cart Settings, selected UPS - UPS Ground and UPS Standard.

What page are you getting this error on? The Add Product Page or Edit Product Page? Or on the Cart Page?

Hi Stan,

Which shipping carrier are you using? . Instead of 4.50 I recommend using 4.00. The shipping carriers (ups, usps, fedex, etc) don't creturn rates for when you enter fractional ounces for the weight in the product setup screen..

Thanks for the insight... we have UPS. Once I made it a whole number, the calculation worked.

I don't know if other's have the same issue, I would suggest that validation be setup so if one of the carriers is selected, the Admin is notified when the product form is saved that the ounces should not be fractional.

Hi Stan,

We have added additional validation and the message "Please Enter Valid Weight" to the edit products screen when an improper weight is entered.
