Kevin,

We're using version 4.65.

Yes, our client is uploading a new Primary Photo from the main Add Products screen (Smith.BuyNow\AddProducts.ascx).  It is a different image in that it's not the same as the one we wish to replace.  The new image has the same name but is not the same file.  

Similar to our previous request it would be best to treat the thumbnail and full size images as replacements if the user specifies a new image using the file dialog.  Resize the images, overwrite if the same name, adjust the paths in the db and move on.  That is what I would expect and what our client is accustomed to coming from a different e-commerce system.

I'm open to suggestions, but asking that the end user, likely a marketing or online sales manager, to perform any file operations is not sufficient.  Let me know what you think.

Hi Ted,

I will add your request to our Enhancement Requests forum. Currently the most efficient way to change your thumbnail images if the file is named exactly the same as the previous image would be to name the new image something different or to to first delete the Thumbnail image located in Portals\0\SmithCart\Thumbnails

You will then be able to upload the new image and the cart will regenerate the thumbnail.
