Hi,

 

I want to sell only digital products, so the Shipping step seems to be useless. Can you add an option in the cart settings to hide this page (ie proceed directly to the 'Payment Method' page) ?

What are the last updates concerning this enhancement request ?

 

Can you confirm it can be done in a future release ?

Note that if the Shipping step is not displayed anymore, an email field must be added elsewhere (in the Invoice To step ?)

 

If it cannot be hidden, can you set the Shipping fields with the information that was entered during the 'Invoice To' step for non registered users too (profile info are taken for logged-in users) ?

In the Shipping step, the fields State/Region and Zip/Postal Code have both a red star (to indicate that they are mandatory), but we can continue the process without filling them... so the star should not be displayed in front if these fileds.

On the Step 1 page, the 2 labels that reference shipping (title and progress bar) can be changed in the resx file. Currently, the cart doesnt have a config option to skip the step 1 screen as the name and address is used to populate the customer table. Regarding the red star next to the state/region and postal code fields, If your store is international (non US) you can remove the asterisks by modifying the step1.ascx. Thanks for your enhancement request! I will make sure it gets added to the cart feature enhancement request list.
