I actually have a question regarding passing the variables using authorize.net.

I would like to pass the variable from the drop down menu as the invoice field & use the comments as the description on authorize.net, so I know what category someone donated towards.

Any idea how this could be achieved? I looked on the forums and didn’t see a post regarding this ?

Are you using the Smith Payment Registration Pro module? You posted this in the Payment Registration with Auth.net checkout, the auth.net checkout module jumps to auth.net for the user to enter their credit card info.

I am using the: (New) Bill Payment/Registration with credit card & echeck checkout v3.1 Pro Module.

There is no built in way to do that in the module currently. in order to pass those custom values to aut.net we would need to do a custom modification for you or you could purchase the source code. If you would like to purchase source code please email sales@smith-consulting.com. The source code is written in c#.

If that can't be done, is there a token availaible which I could use to display in the email template ?

The following tokens are currently supported that can be entered in the email body to customize the email message:


[USERNAME]
[PASSWORD]
[FIRSTNAME]
[LASTNAME]
[MAILINGADDRESS]
[PHONENUMBER]
[EMAIL]
[CREDITCARDLAST4DIGITS]
[ORDERTOTAL]
