If I use Authorize.net or other payment gateway, Do I need to encrypt (apply SSL) to the "Payment Registration Module" page ?

For paypal.. process happens in https://paypal.com, How the process is being done for payment gateway from "smith-consulting Payment Registration Module"

Yes, if you use Authorize.net or another payment gateway where the user enters their credit card on your site you need to encrypt (apply SSL) to the "Payment Registration Module" page.

I dont understand your second question please clarify:

"For paypal.. process happens in https://paypal.com, How the process is being done for payment gateway from "smith-consulting Payment Registration Module"
