DNN version 5.06.01
SmithREG version 4.41.0

Is there a way to automatically notify subscribers that their CC has declined (due to lack of funds, address change, cancelled card or expiration) and have them enter a new one?

The Smith Registration module initially sends the recurring billing transaction to the payment gateway and then the payment gateway handles the subsequent recurring billing of the customer. If you log in to your payment gateway virtual terminal account you should be able to configure a number of customer email notifications including one that notifies the customer if their CC has declined or the expiration date is expired. Please contact your payment gateway company for instructions on how to configure email notifications at the payment gateway.

How would the customer then be able to update their CC information and have it transfer to the reg module?

Currently, the "My Accounts" module doesnt support the ability for a user to change their subscription and billing info and automatically update the ARB record at auth.net.

Please see the following alternate solutions:

1. Using the My Accounts module have the customer cancel their existing subscription and register for a new subscription with their new credit card.

2. Enable the email notification at auth.net and have your customer service dept contact the customer to get their new card number and update the customers ARB record directly in the authorize.net virtual terminal.

3. Submit a quote request here http://www.smith-consulting.com/services/requestaquote.aspx and we can program the change subscription feature into the module.

This is a feature I need as well. Is this in development or had it been added to the roadmap?

Thank You,
John

Currently, users can change or cancel their subscriptions using the Smith Reg Pro "My Accounts" module. However, the My Accounts" module does not currently support the user changing their credit card. We have this feature on the dev roadmap but it is not currently scheduled for programming as a project. If you would like to prioritize programming to add this feature please submit a quote request using the following link:
