Hi,

When I provide an invalid credit card number (or some other invalid transaction info, causing the payment gateway to reject the transaction), and then I click the provided "back" button on the form, the module throws a critical error. The sequence is shown below:

Below is a partial screen-shot showing the message after invalid payment information is submitted. This is correct and expected:

Now, unfortunately, I click the "Back" button provided at the bottom of the form, and uh-oh:

Clicking the browser "back" button does not trigger this behavior.

Thanks for your help on this.

Hi,

I see there is still no reply to this post.

I can only presume this is due to the misplaced hope that the recent version upgrade (see this thread) solved the issue. It didn't.

While the newer version solved the gross failures of the software, this critical issue remains outstanding. If our software had a bug like this, we would never deploy it to a live site. If we had already deployed it, we would insist our developers stayed up all night to fix it if necessary.

In short, this bug is a show-stopper and is now in the critical path of our launch.

Please advise as to how we should proceed.

Thanks for your attention to this matter.

Happy Labour Day! Any chance you can give us an indication as to when this back button issue will be fixed? We really want to get our site launched - Thanks

I just tried to replicate the error on 2 of our test portals and was not able to but there are a lot different configuration settings in the module and I may not have configured the module the exact way you have. Can you login to our test site http://www7.smith-consulting.com/ and try to replicate the error.

Please send an email to support@smithcart.com if you need a login.

Hi Scott,

The module is now working and the problem seems to have been solved. The only change I've made since I last tested was to uncheck the test mode option in the module settings.

Thanks for all your help in this matter!
