We have found a problem with the Calculate Shipping on the first page after a visitor clicks Checkout Now.

When a customer fills in their shipping information and selects either UPS Next Day Air  or UPS 2nd Day Air then calcualtes shipping, the total shipping cost does not carry up to the Shipping Fee field.  The cart will only transfer the UPS Ground fee at this time.

It is only if we toggle between shipping methods that it will accurately show the shipping fee.  An average user may not know to do this.

However, if we a customer fills in their shipping information and clicks calculate shipping before selecting the shipping method, they can then select USP Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air and the cost will accurately display in the shipping fee field.

A recent order has been placed on the website and came through with the UPS Next Day Air as the customer chose but the customer only paid the UPS Ground Rate.  This is a problem.

Kevin,

Can you tell us when this issue will be resolved?  This was originally posted on December 20, 2011 and we were told at that time the it was being addressed.

"This is a confirmed issue that is currently in the process of being addressed by programming. I will post back as soon as an update is available."  The release date to address this was supposed to be the week of December 28.

I cannot provide an accurate time this issue will be addressed. Our programming dept. has been working hard on this issue however a resolution has not yet been found. I will postback to the thread as soon as an update is available. If you would like to prioritize this to the top of the our dev. list, please do one of the following:
