Hi,

         I need the ability to provide few of my customers to be able to get the product free from the cart. For this am planning to send them coupons with 100% discount. Everything goes fine, and after applying the coupon the order total amount is zero. But I still have to fill in the Credit Card details in the Payment Method page, which is something of an surprise as the order total is zero.

         Is there any way so that I can have customers to be able to have free checkout using coupons, without filling in CC information ?

I have the exact same need and issue. I have a promotion starting on Feb 17th where I REALLY would like this feature as well.

I have DNN version 05.06.06 and SmithCart version 4.8.4

Hi David,

I have been able to replicate the issue of when processing a Payment through Auth.net in which the total has been discounted by 100% to $0.00, during checkout, the user will still be required to enter their credit card info. I have sent this issue into programming and will postback to this thread as soon as an update is available.

If this can be fixed for the next release on the 15th I would be verrrry grateful. My promotion that I would want this for starts on the 17th.

In Cart v.5.1 we have added the programming logic to skip the Step 2 page if the total has been discounted by 100% to $0.00.
