Hello good sirs,

I am currently testing importing product images to my Smith Cart version 4.93.

When I have the zoom effect turned on in the product details module, I am able to get it functioning by putting my images in the following directories:

Main images - Portals/1/SmithCart/Images

Thumbnail images - Portals/1/SmithCart/Thumbnails

Zoom images - Portals/1/SmithCart/ZoomImages

Using this directory structure, I have the three versions of each image working correctly in Smith Cart. A thumb, main, and zoom image file.

However, I see there is also a "ZoomThumbs" directory located at Portals/1/SmithCart/ZoomThumbs

Why does this directory exist? What is an example of an image file that would be located in that directory, and it's purpose. I have smith cart working, so I am a happy customer, I just want to make sure that I am taking advantage of all the possible features for images, and that I am correctly adding appropriately sized images to their respective directories.

Thanks,

Alex

In the zoom image management screen when you upload a zoom image the program auto generates a thumbnail of the larger zoom image you uploaded and stores it in the "zoomthumbs" folder. Zoom thumbs are only used in the zoom image management screen so you can view the zoom images you have uploaded.
