The cart sends line item data to a number of payment gateways (i.e. PayPal, First Data, etc). Order line item info meets some of the level 3 data requirements but not all. Which fields specifically do you need passed to your payment gateway? The following are all the level 3 fields (that I know of):
Tax amount
ship from postal code
freight amount
duty amount
destination postal code
destination country code
Customer code
Merchant postal code
Tax identification
Merchant minority code
Merchant state code
PO Number
Line Item Details:
- Product Codes / Service ID (item ID)
- Product / Service Description
- Quantity
- Item Amount
- item tax rate
- Unit of Measure
