Hi,
Notification emails aren't working in my installation. SMTP is working fine on the site and other modules are sending emails with no problems.

I have tried deleting and recreating email templates, but whenever I "Send Order Email" in the Manage order section I receive the message "Email Confirmation Failed".

I get the following message in a white strip at the top of the page when I go into an order:
"Value of '1/01/1900 12:00:00 AM' is not valid for 'SelectedDate'. 'SelectedDate' should be between 'MinDate' and 'MaxDate'.Parameter name: SelectedDate", however, the order has the correct date and time.

The log viewer gives the following message:

StackTrace : at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) at System.Number.ParseDecimal(String value, NumberStyles options, NumberFormatInfo numfmt) at System.Convert.ToDecimal(String value) at Smith.DNN.Modules.BuyNow.ManageOrderDetail.SendMail(String emailType)

Server Name: GenericAU02

I am running SC 5.18b
and DNN 6.02.02

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Ivan,

Is this a fresh install of the Cart and DNN?

I just tried to re-produce this issue on my test portal and was unable to recreate the behavior you reported, however I may not have the exact same configuration as you. I would like to have you login to one of our public test portals and configure the cart the way you have your's configured and try to replicate the issue. This will determine if the issue you are reporting is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific DNN portal/cart install.

I'm still getting the same errors, however the emails are being sent successfully.

Hi Ivan,

Can you confirm that the Admin and User Confirmation emails are now being sent and received? you may also want to think about upgrading to the latest version of SmithCart v.5.20 because version 5.18 was a beta release. Remember when upgrading, it is always recommended that you first do the upgrade in a test environment and make sure you have a full backup before installing on your live site in case you need to rollback.

To fix the issue try downloading and installing the latest cart version 5.22 from the trial downloads page:

Important: Please make sure you install and test on a NEW dnn sandbox account before installing to your live site.  Additionally, before you install to your live portal please make sure you have a full backup in case you need to rollback.
