Hi Kevin,

I'm using DNN 6.2 and smith cart 5.0. I'm working for DNN mobile shopping cart site. I set my portal and admin skin to "Darknight mobileskin". When i select a product and add to cart and then click view cart page, it is navigating to cart page, but products are not displyed in tab whereas the product is showing in my Adroid mobile. How to resolve the issue in my tab.

Please help me...

Thanks,
Swetha.

Just to confirm what you are saying, when you add a product to the cart on your mobile site from your droid it works but when you add a product to the cart on the mobile site from your desktop computer in chrome the product doesnt get added to the cart?

Hi Scott,

Let me explain you clearly. I'm trying to create my shopping cart site both in web version and should support mobile version.

1. I set my portal and admin skin to Darknight mobile. When i tested on my samsung tab, the cart page is not displaying in IE browser whereas the cart page is showing up with products in Chrome and Firefox. When i click view cart and navigate to cart page, products are not displayed in IE browser.

2. Another Issue: In my samsung tab, in chrome browser, the entire site is showing in mobile version. In firefox browser, the entire site is showing in web version. I set my portal and admin skin to "Darkknight mobile" skin.

3. Another issue: When i set portal and admin skin to darknight mobile, my web version cart pages are showing in Mobile support. I want my web version cart pages in web version support and mobile version cart pages in mobi version. If I'm not setting the portal and admin skin to "Darknight mobile", my cart pages are showing in web version. I want the cart pages in web version for my website and mobile version for mobi website.

Thanks,
Swetha.

Hi Swetha,

I understand that you are want a shopping cart site that is usable as web version and also support mobile users.

It sounds to me that IE on the Samsung tab does has an incompatibility issue as you are able to view your site with chrome with out any issue. We don't however have a Samsung tab here in our office to test this issue.

There are times when IE experiences these same types of issues for a desktop browser and when this is the case conditional css is used to render the page for a specific browser. The DarkKnight Mobile skin may also be the cause of this issue. Please see the following link for more info on conditional css: http://www.conditional-css.com/usage

The best solution for a mobile capable site is to have one responsive skin design. This will also make for good SEO. Google has stated that they prefer that websites utilize responsive design for mobile. Please see the following article for more info: http://chatter.thundertech.com/post/G...

If you would like assistance finding a responsive skin for your site our techs are also available to help.

Thanks
