Hi. Internet Explorer or Chrome is not processing credit card on my website. Could you please tell me how to fix this? Firefox is processing though. Thanks

Hi Lloyd,

Which Payment Gateway do you have configured for your store?

Are there any errors being logged to your DNN Event Viewer?

In order to help troubleshoot this issue please provide the following:

A screen shot of your BuyNow settings; General, Shipping and Tax sections
Screenshots of your Payment Setup screens; Payment Gateway, Payment Zones, Payments Methods screen

Hi Lloyd,

I just tried to re-produce this issue on my test portal and was unable to recreate the behavior you reported. Which version of Internet Explorer are you using? I am using IE 9 Version 9.0.8112.16421

I may also not have the exact same configuration as you. I would like to have you login to one of our public test portals and configure the cart the way you have your's configured and try to replicate this issue. This will determine if the issue you are reporting is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific DNN portal/cart install.

I have email you credentials to login. Please let us know if you are able to reproduce the same issue.

Could you please tell me what version of DNN you are using on your test site and version of smith cart you are using? I am assuming 5.22 for smith cart. For my setup it does not display the credit card option unless the user is logged in, and that is for the latest version of IE or firefox. My setup does not display the google payment either. I just upgrage to smith cart 5.22 and no change.

Hi Lloyd,

The DNN version the test site is running is the most recent release of 06.02.04 and Cart version 5.24.

Not sure what you mean by "For my setup it does not display the credit card option unless the user is logged in" have you configured the test portal that same way you have your site configured?

Regarding the Google Checkout option, I noticed that you have the "Single Page Checkout" feature enabled in the Cart Settings. The Google Checkout option for "Single Page Checkout" is on our Dev Roadmap to be added in future release but at this time it is not currently available. Does 5.24 contain the fixes for the cart and address book module? Could you please tell me why the cart does not show the credit card option if the person is not log on? This is clearly a malfunction for it not to show this option, but the other two options. Please stop asking me to duplicate the problem on your test site when you full well know I am using a different version from yours and your test site is not a production site. Thanks

Hi Lloyd,

I don't see any changes or fixes for the Address Book module in our Change Log found HERE which will list all fixes and changes for each release of the Cart.

The reason that we ask you to replicate the issue on our test portal is because it is in a controlled environment with a known stable version of the Cart running.

If you can’t recreate the bug on the test portal this will indicate the issue may be caused by something with your Cart install such as being out of sync or has been inadvertently resolved in a recent release.

To confirm the issue is fixed in the latest version of the Cart you can download and install the latest cart version from the downloads page:

Important: Please make sure you install and test on a NEW DNN sandbox account before installing to your live site. Additionally, before you install to your live portal please make sure you have a full backup in case you need to rollback.

I am using the latest issue of DNN and Smith Cart.

Cart being out of sync? Could you please tell me how you are going to figure out what is wrong with the cart?

Since the issue of the Credit Card option not being shown when a user is not logged in is not a feature of the Cart and we haven't had any other reports of such an issue we need to narrow down the possible causes which is why you were asked to login to our test portal.
