Hi Smith cart team,

I'm using DNN 6.2 and smith cart 5.0

I created separate pages for mobile and created site redirection.

1. Home page to Mhome page
2. Product list page to MProduct list page
3. Product detail page to MProduct detail page.

These three page are showing fine. In my desktop, the web pages are showing in web version. And in my mobile, the mobile pages are showing in mobile version. For mobile version I applied the dark knight mobile skin.

Where as my issue is when coming to cart page, both the desktop and mobile are showing the cart page in web version. When i changed the portal and admin skin to Dark knight mobile, then the cart page in desktop and mobile are showing in mobile version. How ever i cant edit the cart page settings as the page settings header and footer are separated.

I want the web pages in desktop in web version and mobile pages in mobile version.

My client does not want to change the skin. For mobile, the skin should be dark knight mobile skin only. How can i resolve this issue. Is there any settings or configuration that i need to do?

Please help me inresolving my issue. I'm struggling about this issue since from 1 month. Tried many ways, tried applying different skins. nthng worked out for me.

Thanks,
Swetha.

Hi Swetha,

The cart checkout pages (Cart, Step 1, Step 2, Confirm, and Confirm Status pages) use the your DNN admin skin. Currently there is no way to configure a unique skin only for the cart checkout pages like the Cart screen without changing the Admin skin.

As a suggestion, I would recommend creating a child portal for your mobile content and store so that you can apply the dark knight mobile skin as your admin skin and retain the same skin through the checkout screens.

Hope this helps!

Hi Kevin,

I'm using DNN 6.2 and smith cart 5.0

Thanks for your reply. It helped me a lot. I created child portal and added site redirection for mobile pages.

Sorry for another question, my question is
1. Is there any specific browser compatibility for mobile versions? Actually my mobile site is working fine in chrome browser. In chrome, all the pages are displaying in mobile version. Where as in Firefox, all my pages are displaying in web version. In Firefox also i want mobile version pages. what are the steps i need to follow?
2. Another issue is when i open my site in android o/s default browser in tab, the pages are displaying in mobile version, but when i add any product to the cart and click view cart, it is showing my cart page empty. Issue in the android o/s default browser is cart page showing empty even though when i add products to the cart.

P.S: I tested all the above 2 points in my samsung tablet.  Also my mobile pages are working fine in android phone but not in android o/s tab.

Thanks,
Swetha.

Hi Swetha,

1. So far we have not had any mobile compatibility issues reported with specific browsers. Can you please explain how you are redirecting users?

2. Which version of the Android are you using when viewing your site with the default browser? And which Android tablet are you using?

Thanks
