I'm using the e-mail tokens listed for use in smith cart, but the [SUBTOTAL] token doesn't work.

TOTAL: [ORDERTOTAL] <-- when e-mail comes through, the order total displays correctly
SUBTOTAL: [SUBTOTAL] <-- when e-mail comes through, it looks just like this, with token in brackets, but subtotal value not displayed.

Which version of the Cart and DNN are you currently running?

Which Payment Gateway do you have selected?

DNN 6.2 and Smith Cart 5.34 and payment gateway is manual

Hi Monique,

I haven't been able to replicate this issue on our test portal when using the Manual gateway. I would like to have you login to one of our public test portals and configure the cart the way you have your's configured and try to replicate the issue. This will determine if the issue you are reporting is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific DNN portal/cart install.

Nothing comes up on the help desk page becuase I get this error, and I can't find an e-mail to verify:

"You are using an unverified account. Please verify your account by clicking on the link contained in the verification email we've already sent to you"

I already had credentials you sent me a while back for testing, should I use the same?

Would it be easier to tell me how / where in our settings I can determine if we set something so that certain tokens would work and others would not? We are at a recent version of smith cart (5.34)

Hi Monique,

There aren't really any settings that would affect the email tokens from being populated so It would be best for you to configure our test portal the way you have yours configured and try to replicate the issue. This will determine if the issue you are reporting is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific DNN portal/cart install.

The reason you couldn't access the Help Desk your user account didn't have an email address associated with it so it was considered an Unauthorized user. I just updated your user profile and authorized your account on our site so you should now be able to access the Help Desk.

I just logged in to the test portals and adjusted the settings to match ours. When I went to edit the e-mail template, I saw that the one used on the test portal used the token [SUBTOTALS] with an S, not [SUBTOTAL] as it is published in your documentation. After I added in the last S it began to work correctly for us.

Hi Monique,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I had been using the default email templates in the Cart not the tokens from the manual. I will have our tech writer update the manual so others won't have the same issue.
