I'm evaluating the Trial Version of SmithCart 5.62, and attempting to create a product matrix. After following the steps in the manual, creating the Header, Items, and Detail, this is supposed to be what happens:

After you are finished creating your product variant matrix click navigate to the product details page for the product and you will notice a new tab titled “Matrix” in the tab control where the product description is displayed.

Unfortunately, the "Matrix" tab does not appear. I've gone over the steps multiple times, with no luck. Does the Product Matrix work in the trial version? Or am I doing something else wrong?

We're using DNN 7.0.6, but will be upgrading to 7.2 when it comes out.

Hi Steve,

Please also provide a screenshot of your Product Setup, and Product Details settings.

Also, screenshots of the following tab on the Manage Variant Matrix screen:
  • Matrix Header
  • Matrix Detail
  • Matrix Items
  • Matrix Footer

Hi Steve,

I was able to replicate the issue of once the Matrix is configured, the Matrix Tab is not being displayed on the Product Details module. I have logged this to our Bug Tracker system as Bug ID: 295 to be resolved in a future release and we will reply to this thread as soon as an update is available.

This issue has been resolved and the resolution will be included in the next release of the Cart.

Thanks for the update. I see that the next release is scheduled to drop this week. Unfortunately, our trial version has expired in the meantime. How can we get that extended?

Hi Steve,

We are not able to extend the trial version. You have the following 2 options to test the next version of the Cart:
  1. Perform a clean install of the module using the instructions at the following link - http://helpdesk.smith-consulting.com/...
  2. Install the trial version locally on your machine.
