Hi,

This is not urgent, as most folks do not order multiple copies of a single download product with serials, but it does happen, but I thought I would report this as it is an easy fix most likely.

When someone orders more than a quantity of 1 of a download product with a serial, there is no separator. So if someone ordered 3 copies of a serial, it is showing up like Serial Number = AABBCC11AABBCCDD22AABBCC33.

I just sent an email to the customer separating the codes, but you may want to make it look like Serial Number = AABBCC11, AABBCCDD22, AABBCC33 and only put a comma in if there is more than a quantity of 1.

Which version of the Cart and DNN are you currently running?

Also, which option do you have set for "Gift Certificates & Serial Numbers" in your Store Settings?

It was a private build... 5.64, used to fix the mixed cart bug (download and boxed at the same time). I am about to upgrade to the latest, but I did not see the fix in the bug list. So maybe it was already fixed.

I have "Product Serial Numbers - Assign from List" in the settings.

It may take a while to get another multi-download order... or I can quickly put the cart in test most maybe and try it. It is not urgent, but I thought it is worth pointing out.

Hi Steve,

Looking over the SmithCart Change log, it looks like the mixed cart serial number issue was included in the release of 5.65.

In the meantime, I'll run a few tests on my test portal to check if I can get the same issue. Are you using the Smith GateKeeper module to serve up your downloadable files as well?

Yes, the mixed cart issue was fixed in 5.65. The serial numbers being merged together (when the customer adds a quantity > 1) is something I just recently noticed.

We do not use the gatekeeper module (yet). We just use a secure link location for now.

I was able to replicate this issue and have logged this to our Bug Tracker as Bug ID: 348. We will resolve this issue as soon as possible and will reply to this thread as soon as an update is available.
