If you deactivate a product, it is removed from the store listing page, etc, but it will still show in the Related products area of other items that are not deactivated. The cart even allows for you to directly add the item to the cart from the Related Products tab. If you try and view the item, it takes you to the product detail page and then says no item exists.

it really should NOT show related products that are deactivated.

Hi Dustin,

Which version of the Cart are you using? I seem to remember this issue being fixed in a recent release.

Yes, this was released in v6.72 but you can fix by updating the stored proc titled "Smith_ListRelatedProductsPD" and adding the following conditions to the "Where" clause to exclude deleted and archived products:

AND p.logicallydeleted <> 1 AND p.Archived != 1 AND p.HideProduct != 1

As always make sure you have a full backup before making changes to your live site.
