We have purchased your shopping cart module for several of our websites in the past. We have never had a problem until the last 2 websites we have put the module on. For some reason when we add a product you can’t click on that product to go to the product detail page. For example: http://www.americanrecoveryfinancial.... If you click on that one product it does nothing. We also have that on another website. Is there a new setting we may be missing?

In Smith Cart v3.85 release the product details page has been split out as a separate module that enables SEO friendly URLs. In the buynow module settings under the general cart setup there is a setting titled "Product Detail Page - Select the page where you have added the product detail module. This tells the BuyNow module which page to navigate to when the user clicks a product from the product listing.

Also in the product detail module settings there is a setting titled "BuyNow Page Name" – Select the page where you have added the BuyNow module. This tells the Product Detail module which page to navigate to when the user clicks continue shopping or add to cart.

Thank you for your response.

I have done that and it does take me to a separate page, but when I click on a product and it goes to that page it does not display anything about that product. It tells me "No ProductID Exists". Am I missing something?

Also, once that gets figured out we seem to have another problem. With your module the way it was before we could link to the individual product details, we can no longer do that. I don't know if you need an example of what I'm trying to say. We have a prescription drug sale site. All the drugs have their own page and on that page we want to have a buy now that will go straight to that product. Reason we have to do this is there are hundreds of drugs. Is this possible?

The product id is passed in the url to the product detail page giving each product its own unique url so you can link to it or bookmark it.

I am running version 3.87.0. There doesn't seem to be a unique id when the product is clicked. If you go to this link you will see what I mean.
