Is it possible to schedule a product import?

to sync with an external product database. We have variants (size, color) that need to be included in the sync. Do you have an example of an insert/update query that would accomplish this?

All the cart tables are stored in SQL Server so you can write a scheduled stored proc or dts to import your data on a nightly basis. I cant provide an example since all source db structures will be different it may require some data conversion/transformation be done prior to scheduling the data migration.
