Hey all

 

My customer has a requirement that some products, when ordered, trigger 0 shipping for the entire cart.  I know you can set weights to 0 to avoid shipping on the promo product, but can this be done for the entire order?  I know this is a little risky, IE a 10$ item could lose them 50$ in shipping, but is there a way?

HI David,

Currently you can configure the Shipping and Handling to always charge Free Shipping charge Free Shipping or you can use Product Level Shipping Costs to configure the Shipping rate for each every product individually but not on the entire order if a specified product is added. If you would like a quote to add this feature please send an email to sales@smith-consulting.com with a link to this post.

As, a possible solution for you could set up a coupon to apply free shipping by entering 0 in the Shipping Amount field of the Add Coupons screen, this will apply a $0 shipping rate to all items in the Cart.
