In a recent version of the cart (I'd say about 10 versions ago, so maybe 4.40 or something) there were security roles that could be set so that when particular users logged into the store, they could manage only certain modules. For me, these were 'Manage Orders', and 'Manage Shipments', with the corresponding security roles; SCManageOrders, SCShipOrders.

Since upgrading the cart, when logging in to the store to administer orders, the red toolbox that is used to access the store admin menu is gone when I login with a user that is a part of the said security roles.

Cart version 4.52, dnn 5.5.1, sql 2008

Hi Mike,

I have been able to replicate this to an extent, the icon shows up for me but if you click on it does not take you to the Admin Menu. Do the users added to these roles also have the SCAdmin role added to them? This would cause the Admin Menu icon not to show.

I have sent this into programming, and will post back as soon as an update is available, most likely in the release of v4.56.

Hi Mike,

In regards to the security roles, a new role has been added to allow the users to view the Admin Menu. The following role gives the user access to the SC Admin Menu (toolbox) on the product listing page:

SCViewAdminMenu
