There is an issue with the smith cart applying tax to items marked as "Tax Exempt" when configured to utilize Zip2Tax integration. 

Our store has digital downloads (tax exempt) and tangible goods (taxable in certain states).  

To reproduce: 

1. Configure Cart for Zip2Tax integration. 

2. Flag some products as "TaxExempt" 

3. Purchase tax exempt products and observe tax is being applied. 

Please advise.

Hello,

Is the tax being applied to the product or to the shipping rate? Please post a screenshot of your Cart Settings.
