I have a fixed width skin applied to the page with the buynow module. When I access some of the functions of store administration such as manage orders, it runs off the right of the screen without a horizontal scroll bar.

Is there a way to set a separate skin for store administration?

I tried a separate page with a different skin and the buy now module but when I select the store admin menu, it reverts to the website default skin.

The cart admin screens use the your dnn admin skin there is no way to configure a unique skin only for the cart admin pages like manage orders. Since some of the cart admin screens use grids to many columns your best option is to modify your portal admin skin/css for adjustable width.

Thank you, I found where to do that and that will be sufficient for my issues.

Kevin-

After further testing, I found that this is still an issue. If I change the admin to a different skin, it works well for all of my admin pages.

But for some reason, the checkout pages are also in the new skin. These are customer-facing pages and should retain the skin of the pages of the rest of the store.

Please let me know how to correct this...

Thank you,

Hi Scot,

If you want the same skin on the checkout pages, you will need to set your portal and admin skin to use the same skin.

Thanks,

I am not sure you understood me. I do NOT want the admin pages and the non-admin pages using the same skin. The admin pages do not fit on my non-admin page skin.

The problem is that the checkout page, a user- page and not one I consider an admin page, is using the admin skin when I try to separate them. Unless for some reason you consider the checkout page to be an admin page, it is using the wrong template.

Thanks.

This is actually a bug/limitation in dnn when you redirect to another user control dnn applies the admin skin instead of the portal skin.

Long story short you will need to set your portal and admin skin to the same skin temporarily if you want the same skin on the cart and checkout. We are hoping that dnn will fix the bug soon.
