Hello,

I have smith cart set up and on the sign in page it prompts you to either sign into your account or create an account.  The issue is that on the create an account page, it does not ask you to enter in a username and password, so the user can't come back to the site and login with the account they supposedly just created.

Can you please explain how this needs to be set up or let me know if this is a bug/error.  We are using smith cart 5.0

I tried to upload a few attachments to show you - but there was an error when I tried to upload the attachments.

Hey Eric,

You have to enable another setting to allow the user to setup a username and password.

On the Buy Now Settings page under Sign In & Registration, you need to have enabled or checked Show Sign In Page & Require Login. A picture is shown for example. If only Show Sign In Page is selected and Require Login is unchecked, it will not show the form fields for username and password.

Once both of those are enabled, your Register and Checkout page should look like this if they are not logged in.
