Login security is a security option that QuickBooks Online offers. With login security turned on, QuickBooks Online only creates a connection after a user cuts-and pastes a connection ticket provided by QuickBooks online into the connecting application. Login security must be turned off in order to work with the cart.
Login to your quickbooks online account and turn off session authentication (login security).
Here are the steps:
1. Log in to QuickBooks Online Edition using the username and password you normally enter to sign in to view and edit your company file in QuickBooks Online. https://login.quickbooks.com/j/qbn/auth/employee?service_flags=0&url=https%3A%2F%2Faccounting.quickbooks.com%2Fqbo%23%23c2004c%23%23%2Flogin%2Frecordnew&serviceid=2004
2. In the upper right corner of your browser window, select "My Account" and click on "Connection List". In the list of connections to QuickBooks Online that opens up, select the existing connection you created and click the "Delete" button at the bottom of the window.
3. A dialog box asking you to confirm the deletion will pop up. Click "OK", and the existing connection will be deleted.
4. Create a new connection, make sure that you choose to turn off the "login security" option in QuickBooks Online when you are subscribing again
A session ticket is ideal only for payment workflows that are merchant directed. The desktop model introduces the option to not implement the session tickets because of lower security risks or workflow issues. The merchant must be given explicit instructions to turn off the session security during the connection setup.
