Franchise email

Okay so I have a standard set of products (baking goods) that is across all 15 bakeries - the user selects from that set and then I need them to have a choice of which "bakery" they can order from / pick up from

Once the order is placed an email then goes to THAT "bakery" and to the head office.

Can this be done without making 15 store modules?

You could do it all in one store module with the exception of the email being sent out to the 15 different bakeries. Currently in the cart you are able to configure an email that is sent out to the store admin and one additional email "CC Email". In the senario you described you need to tie the email to the manufacturer/vendor for a product and based on the product(s) the user purchases send an email out to that vendor. Right now the cart doesnt support that feature so your options are to create 15 instances of the buynow module or have us custom program that feature.

Is there any way to tie it to the database and have query from the custom "bakery" field? Can I create a dropwown list wih a Value of the email address and then have that inject into the CC field as a token $(Email) or something?

Even a hack that auto redirects could be possible?

The only way I can think of doing it is to use the "On Checkout Complete Event" to call a stored proc that sends the email or you can wrtie a database trigger that is triggered when a new record is inserted to the orders table.

That might get very complicated especially if the admin adds a franchise etc. It would be great, and logical to have a distributer functionality in the store.

Is there a way tohash it together by maybe setting up each bakery as a "delivery Method" or "couriier type" - does that have an email or separate notification process?

You can setup delivery methods for each bakery but there is no way to tie an email to a delivery method. If you have budget in your project the cleanest solution is to have us program the email address to the manufacture/vendor table and cc the vendor email on the order confirmation.
