Hi

is it possible to set-up customer configurable products?

For example:

A product consists of box of 60 items, 20 of Type A, 20 of Type B & 20 of Type C.

Each Type has number of different flavours, the customer can then select how many of each flavour they want up to the limit of 20.

Yes you can set custom configurable products by using product variants. See page 102 of the cart users manual

I wish to set up a product in the following manner:

A product consists of box of 60 items, 20 of Type A, 20 of Type B & 20 of Type C.

Each Type has number of different flavours, the customer can then select how many of each flavour they want up to the limit of 20

I can not see how it can be done - Is it possible?

I created a product called Candy Canes here www7.smith-consulting.com/cart.aspx and created 2 products varients as you described. Take a look and let me know if that is what you are talking about.

No not really, it's a little more complicated than that.

The flavour Cherry, needs to have type B, Type C & Type D as options.

But the customer can choose any combination of Type A B C or D to make up a preset number of items.

For Example:

Type A: 5

Type B: 3

Type C: 4

Type D: 8

Total: 20
