Can I import an existing customer base into smith cart? If so, how? I have about 2500 existing wholesale customers that I want to migrate over and use smith cart for their purchases but there doesn't seem to be a mechanism to do so. It seems that the only way customer accounts can be created is by each individual customer.

What I would like to be able to do is create their accounts with their existing customer number and a temporary password, or at least their login, then send them an email with the account and login info. Is this possible?

What you are looking for is a dnn user profile import. The cart doesnt come with a button to import customers to the dnn user profile if you search snowcovered using the keyword "user profile import" you will find many modules that allow you to import an xls or csv to the dnn user profile. Once your customers are imported to the dnn user profile the cart will automatically retrieve their information and auto populate the checkout screens if they are logged in.

Scott,

Thanks for the clarification. I head down that road.
