Well, since it seems that many of my customers can't type their own email addresses correctly, I have made a simple change to the ASCX file to put a second box "Please re-enter your email address", which compares against the first one.

If someone is interested in doing this, I'll post the code in the howto, or if Dave wants to make it part of the cart, I will send him the code for the next build.
